This week Microsoft delivers on an old promise: allowing gamers to use the Xbox One controller on the PC. The drivers to make the Xbox One controller work on PCs is available now for download and in two flavors: x86 and x64.
The drivers support any games that a previous Xbox 360 controller supports. There isn’t anything special to buy, just connect the controller via a micro USB cable to the PC and you’re good to go.
The drivers are available for download from Microsoft’s website, but the company will soon distribute the drivers via Windows Update for everyone’s convenience.
