Google Chrome by default is set to “Ask me when a site tries to track my physical location”, this option will alert you when a site requests your location and enables you to allow or deny this request, but the fact is that Chrome’s location feature still turned on. It would be great if there was an option to enable us to turn off location tracking, right? OK, there is one and it is pretty easy. To disable Chrome’s location feature follow these steps:
1- Open Chrome web browser
2- Go to Chrome menu 
and select Options.3- Options windows will open and SelectUnder the hood tab.
4- Click on Locationand select Do not allow any site to track my physical location.
You can click on Exceptions…to remove sites what where granted to access your location previously.
5- To finish click Close and Close again.
Most of the time, websites will use locations to personalize your experience when you visit them, but if for whatever reason you don’t want to share your physical location, with this simple guide you should be able to help to protect your privacy a little bit better.
